We are in the days that God is restoring the Tabernacle of David spoken of in Acts 15:16. “After this I return and build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down: and I will build again the ruins of it.”
The tabernacle of David is the church – we are the temple of God where Christ is worshipped, both individually and corporately. David tells is in Psalms 24:7-9, that if we lift up our heads and worship, the King of Glory will come in. We are the gatekeepers of the heavenly realm. Worship is the means by which we enter into God’s presence to engage with God for communion and fellowship. The results of intimacy is always a release of God’s Word from heaven to the earth with Kingdom power and authority
The Lord is calling our hearts, priorities and devotions back to our first love – Jesus Christ. There is coming a revelation of God’s love that will set the church ablaze with His glory. This fresh outpouring will cause the heart of God’s people to become passionate lovers of God as the bride of Christ. This is turn will restore the Spirit of worship by those with a passion for Christ that will open the gates for the King of Glory to come in.
We are going to see Church life the way that Christ intended it to be- a habitation for the Spirit of God with a people filled with the Holy Spirit. God is about to reveal His Kingdom power and authority through the ordinary members of the Church, the true worshippers that are lovers of God.
Intimacy -The Way of Life
Intimacy with God will become the main theme of life and the way of life. It will be the quest to dwell in His presence for communion and fellowship that will become the delight and passion of His people. Here in His presence, God will reveal His thoughts. As in the beginning, the Spirit of the Lord is about to move over the earth to bring forth a new creation and He will do this through His people who speak His Words that has His life. His Word is the rain that ends the spiritual drought in the land for His thoughts are like the rain that comes from heaven to water the earth that brings forth new life.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are you ways My ways says the Lord. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven and returns not, but waters the earth and makes to bring forth and but that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,: So shall My Word be that goes out of my mouth…..For you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing, and all the tress of the field shall clap their hand. (Isaiah 55: 8-12)
As the Lord declares, His thoughts are like the rain from heaven that waters the earth. His thoughts contain the life that gives seed to the sower that His people may have bread. This speaks of prosperity! The results for those who drink the rain of heaven are a people that will dance before the Lord with great joy being filled with His peace. Even creation itself rejoices because of the creator that lives within them – the Word of God.
We are about to the Lord rain upon the earth with a fresh outpouring released through the love struck worshippers of God that will cause the land to prosper through those who have the Word of God.
It is this joy and the peace of God upon His people who arise and shine with His glory that in the midst of great darkness and chaos, will be an evangelistic tool that will cause those in this time of great fear and uncertainty, to turn to the Lord. In midst of trials and tribulations, even in the midst of a failing economy and a world in darkness and sin, their light will cause many to turn to the Lord.
It will be those who arise and shine from the place of intimacy with God that will have the manifested glory of God seen upon them. In the midst of the greatest darkness, the Kings and the Gentiles of the nations shall come to the brightness of their light and bring with them the abundance of the nations that will cause God’s people to greatly prosper.
Arise and Shine for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall arise upon you and His glory shall be seen upon you. And the Gentiles shall come to your light and the kings to the brightness of your rising. …. …and they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the Lord…and I will glorify the house of My glory (Is. 60:1-7).
The Promise Land & the Rain of Heaven
God’s covenant with His people is that if we obey both His voice and His commandments blessings will overtake His people and they shall prosper. (See Deut. 28) The people that k now and serve their God will receive an outpouring of the latter rain that will cause their land to prosper and bear fruit. This is the promise the Lord has given to those who know their God and follow Him,
But the land, wherever you go to posses it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinks the rain of heaven. A land which the Lord your God cares for: the eyes of the Lord your God are always upon it… And it shall come to pass if you shall hearken diligently to my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul. (14) That I will give to you the rain of your land in due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your corn, and your wine, and your oil (Deut. 11:11- 15)
The Promise land is a land of hills and valleys that drinks the rain of heaven. This means from the highest government official and authority in the earth, to the lowest insignificant areas of our lives, thrives on the rain of heaven. Without God’s rain, everything becomes like a desert, parched and dry void of spiritual life that reveals the Kingdom and glory of God.
The Promise Land is all that is within your sphere of influence that God has given to you. This includes your family, job, friends, finances, property, gifts and talents, community life and ministry. As we obey His commandments and love Him, He will release the rain of heaven that gives life to our Promise Land.
As we cultivate intimacy with God we will receive the life of His Holy Spirit that will prosper all that we put our hands too. God wants to release the latter rain that gives life to our Promise Land that will cause the fatness of the earth to yield its fruit with plenty of corn and wine. The latter rain is the Holy Spirit that waters the earth. It is here in His presence that our minds are renewed, our hearts refreshed and our soul revitalized by the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit. As we serve the Lord God with all of our heart and soul each day in the spirit of worship to engage with God, we will release the latter rain that will cause our hands to prosper.
Be skillful in the Spirit
It is here in God’s presence, that God breathes life to His purposes. Not only to renew us with His love, but to infuse our natural gifts and talents with His Spirit. God wants to infuse our natural skills and talents with the Holy Spirit and make us skillful in the things of the Spirit. We can be skillful in our natural talents, such as in art and music, or building a house and farming, and still be wanting. This is because God wants to anoint our natural gifts and talents with His Spirit that awakens them to their true destiny in Christ.
He wants to anoint our natural talents and skills to bear fruit that reveals His glory. One does not have to be in full time ministry to have their skills and talents anointed by God. It is crucial that we seek the Holy Spirit in all that we put our hand too. It is the clarion call of every believer to reveal heaven’s provision on earth by a people who are naturally supernatural.
God wants to bring new life within our sphere of influence by infusing His Spirit, the breath of God in all that we do. Our words, hands, gifts and talents, finances, business, families and communities, are to come alive by the release of His Spirit through creative ways. As you walk in the spirit of worship, you will release the life of God in you and around you that reveals heaven on earth.
God wants the natural things to be supernatural. He wants to anoint the garage mechanic with a word of knowledge to reveal what is wrong with a car’s engine. (God has divine diagnostic abilities) He wants to anoint the hands of the dentist that is in preparing to drill to replace a filling and gold appears. He wants to anoint the hands of the person at the grocery store bagging groceries so that whoever touches the food is touched by God. He wants to anoint the mind of the politician with divine wisdom and the School teacher with prophetic revelation.
In all that we do His Spirit is the life that enables our hands to prosper that reveals the economy of heaven through a Christian commerce that states that God is Lord of all. God is about to replace the economy of this earth with the economy of heaven through a people that are worshipers of God.
In the beginning the Spirit of God moved over the earth. His heart was moved with compassion for the earth that was void and in darkness. He spoke and light penetrated the darkness that brought forth new life. The first act that God did was to bring forth a new creation. God, who is a creative God, has created mankind to be a creative. As in the beginning God will once again move over the earth to bring forth new life and He will do this through His people.
As sons and daughters of the Creator, we are called to be creative. His Spirit will bring forth new songs in the congregation of the saints that will illuminate the person of Jesus Christ to His people. The creative arts and those with the gift to choreograph the praise dance, skits, mime and drama, will find a fresh anointing to reveal creative ways to illuminates God’s heart with a message that will open the prison doors and set the captives free. In the midst of God’s people His Spirit will move in miraculous ways that bring forth new life, renewal, redemption and restoration to His people.
In His heart and love
