The following is a prophetic word given by Bob Jones called “The Glory Train” located on his website at http://www.bobjones.org/. Following this word is a link to a video located on MorningStar’s website where Bob gave the same prophetic word to Rick Joyner. This is followed by an article I wrote called “Preparing for His Glory.”
As we all know, there is an outpouring of God’s spirit coming that will usher in a harvest that we need to prepare for. Now is the time for change. The change required is that we move according to God’s plans to fulfill His purpose. We are now being properly prepared and positioned to receive an outpouring of His glory with the right leadership in place to equip the saints for the work of ministry. Now is the time to prepare laborers for the work of the harvest that is upon us.
GOD’S GLORY TRAIN – by Bob Jones
On September 5th I was sitting on a train and noticed that all those on the train were also seated. They were all shepherds and each one had a special seat assignment. Their seats were assigned by the Holy Spirit and they knew what they were called to do. As the train was traveling I asked the Conductor “what is this train?” He said it was the GLORY TRAIN and He gave me a capsule.
It was a TIME CAPSULE and it was shaped like an egg. It had new life in it! It had the beginning and end of time in it. For time was created for man, not man for time. I asked the Conductor “when can I open this egg and when will this train arrive?” He said the time was within the egg. And the egg will be opened in 2012.
So we need to keep sitting in the seat that He has given us. Sitting speaks of rest so we need to rest in what He’s called us to be. I knew a few of the people that were seated on the train with me but there were far more on board that I didn’t know. So we are all going in the same direction and we’ll see the glory train come in the next 3 years.
The time capsule has the WISDOM OF THE AGES in it; from the beginning to the new beginning. We’re coming to the end of the old in 3 yrs and the birthing of the new and the glory of God falling upon the churches.

Preparing For His Glory алиса госпожа
As Bob indicated, we have now entered into a season of rest. Because the people were sitting and not standing on the train, indicates that these shepherds are resting in the Lord as they travel toward their destination – the glory of God. God is truly birthing something new and He is taking us there!
To rest in the Lord doesn’t mean that we cease from activity, but that we engage with heavenly to fulfill His purpose. The greatest rest that I know is when I am in God’s will. For instance, when I write I feel energized by the Holy Spirit because that is what I am called to do. As I write the words flow and I feel refreshed and renewed. What is written must originate from the heart of the Father otherwise it will flow from the intellect. It may sound good and be intellectually stimulating, but without the Spirit, there is no life in it. Jesus said His Words are Spirit and they are life.
When we engage with His work it not only brings life to those around us, but energizes the very vessel that He is ministering through. Living waters flow from the heart, we therefore minister the words that He has penned in our heart. God is building His kingdom in the hearts of men by those who have the Father’s heart.
If we are working for the wrong reasons it will require human energy and effort to sustain the work that we are trying to accomplish. That which originates from the heart of God is sustained by the Holy Spirit. If we are not being energized by the Holy Spirit it is a good indication that we are striving rather than abiding.
Lift Up Ye Heads
The Lord is preparing leadership to usher in His glory and it will come from the place of unity. Every move of God originates from the heart of the Father. Thus to release a river of life, we need to become one with His heart to fulfill His purpose for “He that is joined unto the Lord is one Spirit” (1 Cor. 6:17). It is here in the Father’s heart from the place of intimacy that we become one as the gatekeepers of His glory. I truly believe that the major way in which the Lord will come is through the gateway of a worshipping Church. As David declared in Psalms 24:7, 8, 10,
Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be lifted up, you everlasting doors; and the King of Glory shall come in. (8) Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. (10) Who is this King of glory” The Lord of Host, He is the King of Glory.
Our highest call is to worship God with adoration and praise, for we enter into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise (Ps. 100). Church leadership has the authority to open up the gates for the King of Glory to come in, or to keep them closed. When people freely worship Christ with extravagant worship as David did, the King of Glory will come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of host mighty in battle!
Worship prepares the heart to receive the King of Glory. When even the smallest group sings to the Father with true love in their hearts, their worship touches the Father who in turn touches them for God inhabits the praises of His people. (Ps. 22:3) There is nothing that brings the Father more joy than when embattled; struggling believers on earth worship their Father in heaven. When a church is filled with continual praise, they will see a continual outpouring of God’s glory. Like waves that rush to shore, God will pour out His Spirit until the full tide of His glory is ushered in.
It is this worship that we and the Father in Christ become one. There is no higher purpose than to worship Him. Genuine adoration expressed by even the most humble believer on earth, touches the Father’s heart and brings Him joy. We worship our Father not for what we receive, but to bring Him joy. It is the joy of the Lord that is our strength and we will never be stronger than when we bring Him joy.
Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. (3) Let them praise His name in the dance, let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp, (4) For the Lord takes pleasure in His people…. (Psalms 149:2-4)
Christ as the Lion and the Lamb
As David declared, the King of Glory is the Lord of host mighty in battle. Many know Him as the Lamb but few know Him as the Lion of Judah. The Lord is coming as a victorious King. A very important role of a worship leader is to know the heart of God and His purpose, and choose the songs that proclaim His heart. Just like the ministry of teaching, preaching, praying and prophesying, we minster His Words by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to release the anointing.
Our call is know His heart to usher in the way in which He
wants to come. If He wants to come as the Lamb, then the Holy Spirit will guide us in that direction. And likewise He will lead us to reveal Christ as the Lion of Judah with a militant beat. If we are bent on choosing our favorite or familiar songs, or our own style of worship, we keep the gates closed and the King of glory out!
If we are singing Amazing grace when He wants to come as the Lord of Host, we need to choose the song that will engage the people in the way He desires to reveal Himself. If He wants to release His joy, we need to engage people with songs that prompt His people to rise up and dance before Him being joyful in glory. When we connect with God and release that which is on His heart, the people will witness the anointing that accompanies that song and respond with dancing feet and joyful hearts.
People respond to the anointing not our prompting. One of the most difficult tasks of worship leaders is to leave the familiar to find the heartbeat of God in heaven to release a new sound that ushers His glory on earth. Creativity is the very nature of God. Being sons and daughters of the creator, we are called to be creative; otherwise we will stick to that which is “safe and familiar.” For many this will become a pride issue, which God resist for God resist the proud but gives grace to the humble.
So often when a worship service is lifeless, it is not because the people are not responding to the worship, but the worship leader may be presenting a program, or a selection of songs from their “repertoire” rather than drawing from the heart of God. The same holds true for the ministry of teaching, preaching, praying and prophesying. I have seen God resist those who resist Him. Those who wish to use the same methods that worked in the past will miss Him altogether, especially when He is coming as the Lord of Host to engage His people in warship.
Warship is simply worship that is anointed for warfare that brings healing, restoration and delieverance through the expression of sound and movement. Thus, we must connect with the heart of God and flow from the place of intimacy to release that which is on His heart in order to usher His presence in our midst. As I mentioned earlier, all movements originate from the heart of God. God wants to do something new!
Anointed for War
When Israel entered into the Promise Land it was the youth armed for war that crossed Jordan as an army and took Jericho. It will be the army of youth that will cast out the enemies of the Lord to possess the Promise Land. (Joshua 4:13) The enemy has taken much from the church, but the coming youth will not only take back the land, but occupy it in Christ Jesus.
Youth without number will come when they see the faith of God in the Church, a place where they can experience His glory The youth will not have an interest in our present church programs and activities, but rather the adventure that is theirs in Christ Jesus. They will only follow the Lord of Host who leads them to victory. They will seek out the Caleb’s and Joshua’s to fulfill their noble mission that the Lord has empowered with the faith of Christ to lead them as a powerful force to take the Land.
Their heart’s desire and passion will be to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit. Refusing to engage with services that do the same thing the same way week after week, year after year, they will break the cycle of tradition to march in unity with a vision and a defined purpose that leads them forward in victory.
Moses is Dead
When Joshua came into the Promise Land the Lord said to him, “Moses My servant is dead” (Joshua 1:2). порно гурман In other words Joshua, although you have been given the mantle of Moses, your assignment has changed as well as the anointing. Instead of leading my people around in circles as a shepherd in the wilderness, I am anointing you as a general to lead my army with a clear objective, which is to take the Promise Land.
To confirm this, the Lord appeared to Joshua as the Captain of the Host with a sword in His hand. His mission was to lead the army to victory. (Joshua 5:13-16) Those who understand this will shift their worship, teaching and ministry to attract the glory of God, especially the Lord of Host. The youth will be attracted to the Lord’s glory. The Lord is now raising up the Caleb’s and Joshua’s to lead the youth as a mobilized force to minister the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ that reveals the Kingdom of heaven in power and demonstration as Jesus did.
We must be in good physical, mental and spiritual shape to be the strong leaders that God has called us to be. To lead the coming army of youth will require that we are in top condition. The discipline and focus required will surpass that of any army. The coming youth will not be interested in seeking wealth or becoming entangled with the affairs of the world, nor will they engage in ministries that are void of the anointing. Rather they will live entirely for Christ and His glory. We must as Christians, set an example to the youth as those with extraordinary faith doing great exploits.
Bob mentioned that the Lord is willing to pour out His glory but we are not yet ready! In order to be properly prepared, we must leave the familiar and get on board with Him. Because we are His children, he will bless our meetings, but He will only inhabit that which originates from Him. There is a vast difference between good ministries that bless God’s people as oppose to the glory of the Lord that rest upon His people. We not only want a visitation, but to become a dwelling place for His habitation. The purpose of ministry is to lay a foundation upon Christ to build His house that is fitly framed together for a habitation for the Spirit of God. (Eph. 2:21-22)
In whom all the building is fitly framed together to become a holy temple in the Lord. (22) In whom you are also built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit (Eph. 2:21-22).
Each person in the church has a call and each one is needed. When the body of Christ is “fitly framed together” with each person functioning as they are gifted and called, the church will then become a holy temple of the Lord.
Our goal is to labor as Paul did to see Christ formed in His people. A building fitly framed together consists of the ordinary members of the Church doing the work of ministry. This also releases the glory of God and brings glory to God, which is to release the anointing of the Holy Spirit through the members of the Church, “But now God has set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased Him” (Eph. 12:18).
The apostolic church will emerge in 2012. At that time we will begin to see the power of God manifested to the world through the church. Jesus said that greater works will you do because of the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. In order to prepare for this, the Lord is raising up skilled craftsmen to work together in the unity of the Spirit to build His house. Like any home, it requires the skill of many craftsmen, such as a plumber, carpenter, electrician and painter to build a house. Likewise, the same is true in building the spiritual house of the Lord.
The house of the Lord consist of many ministries, such as that of the fivefold ministries of Christ, the ministry of the watchmen, the gift of helps, governments, intercession, healing and deliverance, worship, the prophetic, gifts of healing and so on. To deny any of these ministries is to deny Christ who works through His people, for it is “Christ in you the hope of Glory” (Col. 1:27).
Equipping the Saints
In order to build God’s house for a habitation for His glory, there must be enough trained leaders to build His house and to lead His army. The army of God and the Church are one and His generals are also His faithful shepherds. God is now restructuring the church to embrace all of the fivefold ministries of Christ – that of Christ the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher “And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some pastors and teachers: (12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12).
The main role of Church leadership is not to do the work of the ministry or to form a hierarchy, but to equip believers for ministry. People are not to sit in pews as spectators but to engage with the Lord as participators. This means that each person must be properly connected to their head- Jesus, functioning in their ministry. Then we will see Christ functioning in all of His Church that reveals all of His glory.
“And has put all things under His feet, and gave Him (Jesus) to be the head over all things to the church. (23)Which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all (Eph. 1:22-23).
Preparing for the Harvest
Unless the ordinary members of the church are properly equipped for the work of ministry, the harvest will cast great stress upon Church leadership and the congregation of believers. Think about it! Although we desire church growth and revival, how would leadership handle a sudden influx of 300 people? Especially new converts, or those that are hurting, wounded and in need of healing? How do we deal with those who need to be properly cared for, nurtured and equipped?
We can’t give them a church bulletin and welcome them as visitors, and then thank them for coming and invite them to come back the following Sunday. No! Jesus said that we should pray to the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers. This is what we need, strong ministry teams that are able to do the work of ministry.
The New Testament pattern is not just to make converts, but to disciple them to grow up into Christ, hear His voice, follow Him, abide in His love and function in the church as He has called each one. This task cannot be accomplished by a pastor and his staff alone, but through the proper equipping of the body of Christ to care for the Lord’s own. The Lord of harvest will not release a harvest or His glory until we are properly prepared and positioned for this. One of the main roles of the shepherds that are riding on the glory train is to prepare the body of Christ for the harvest.
We are praying for the Lord to bring in 120 people to form a base support from which we can identify and equip leaders to lead and build ministry teams. We need to raise up fathers and mothers of the faith. A pastor should not be counseling women. The Biblical pattern is for the women in the church to disciple, nurture and care for the younger daughters. Likewise the more mature men are to disciple the younger.
The model of New Testament life and growth is given to us by Jesus who discipled 12 men to do the works that He did. They in turned changed the world. In the future, home groups will play a very important role in this.
It is said that there will be over 500,000 thousand home groups established across America. Home groups provide a safe friendly environment where the people are enriched by the fellowship, equipped in their gifts, and where the love of God ministers to those in community. We can now prepare for this by equipping home group leaders, stockpiling Bibles and purchasing the training material needed to disciples and care for the Lord’s own.
Although God is willing, He cannot release His glory until the Church is properly prepared. It will be His glory that will attract the youth, the prodigal sons and the unsaved. The wisdom of God is to protect both the anointing and His people. In the next movement, the glory of God will not diminish but continue in intensity and in strength. The ceiling of those who are carriers of His glory will become the floor for the next generation until the glory of the Lord covers the earth as the waters cover the seas.
Thus leadership must prepare believers for the work of ministry to care for those who come in because of the Lord’s glory. We see a picture of this taking place in Isaiah 60:2-3, “For, behold the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you. (3) And the gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
Gross darkness is now increasing upon the earth but so is the light of God’s glory. His light is greater than darkness. During the harvest, people will come to the light – the glory that is even visible upon God’s people. As the scriptures states, even Kings will come to the brightness of their rising bringing with them their wealth. (Is. 60:3-5)
We need the right people equipped to disciple new converts. How would a church handle 150 new youth that come in all at once? Add to this those that are backslidden, the unsaved and those who wish to receive Christ or to be baptized in water or the Spirit. How would we handle hundreds of people that desire to be equipped in their prophetic gifts, the gifts of healing and power evangelism? Will we confine them to a church service on Sunday morning and a fellowship meeting on Wednesday night, or will we care for them and equip them for ministry?
It seems that we have a three year period to prepare. It would be wise to work out a three year plan now to prepare for the harvest. In our ministry we are bombarding heaven asking the Lord to bring laborers that we can equip and train to lead and build ministry teams. It will be the first harvest that will become the laborers for the second harvest. We are also praying for the resources to establish the Tabernacle of David, a 24 hour worship center. We are also preparing training material that home groups can use and others that will empower them to conduct their own School of the Holy Spirit.
We are living in exciting times and the best is yet to come!
In our Father’s heart and love,
