Prophetic Bulletins

The Fire of God’s Glory

On the horizon there is an unprecedented outpouring of God’s Spirit that will soon touch the life of every believer on earth with a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit. The prophet Isaiah foretold of the day when darkness will increase upon the earth. During this time the light of God “shall arise upon you and His glory will be seen upon you” (Is. 60:2). As darkness deepens upon the face of the earth, the Spirit of the Lord will arise upon His people in even greater measure! The light of His presence will be so bright that His glory will be seen resting upon His people. We are now in the days that darkness is increasing.  The time has come for the glory of God to increase even more!  Get ready for an impartation of fresh fire for the glory of the Lord is your reward!

Along with the outpouring it will rain with the fire of His burning presence!  This will not only bring renewal and restoration to the Church but will torch regions with a fresh fire that will culminate into a global harvest. Soon churches will explode with an influx of converts that will need to be discipled and cared for. The Lord is now preparing the Church to become carriers of His glory as a Kingdom Force. Not only to engage in the last day battle, but to empower the Church for the work of ministry.

This fire will also burn all the wood, hay and stubble and purify the gold and silver that remains. If you feel like you have been through the fire, rejoice and be glad for the Lord’s glory is about to dawn upon you as the rising Sun.

The Fire of God

When Israel emerged from their captivity in Egypt and began their journey in the wilderness, the Lord went before them as a cloud by day and a fire by night. (Exodus 13:21). The Lord’s glory was seen by day as a cloud that overshadowed Israel. At night there was a visible presence of fire that gave them light to see at night. The fire of God is part of His divine nature. Wherever you find the fire of God you will find His glorious presence. Where His presence is there is also His fire that ignites others for Christ!

The Church is about to be led again by the glory of God as a cloud by day and a fire by night that will be seen resting upon His people for “…In them He has set a tabernacle for the Sun (Psalms 19:4). This is the call of the Church in “whom you are built together for a habitation for the Spirit of God” (Eph. 2:22). The fire of God is His living presence. This is the torch that the church is to bear that shines with the light of His living presence to illuminate the way to a lost and dying world.

John the Baptist spoke of this when he declared, “He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire” (Mt. 3:11). To be baptized with the Holy Spirit means to be filled with the very breath of God until we are ablaze with the fire of God’s living presence.

Alive in Christ

How close we walk with God determines how bright our light shines!  Just as a natural fire needs oxygen in order to burn, the fire of His presence breathes the atmosphere of heaven. God’s breath is the atmosphere of heaven, which is where we are called to dwell and the air that we are to breathe. Although our bodies are here on earth our spirits can be joined with His in heaven “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Cor. 6:17). In order for our spirit to burn brightly with the life of God, we need to learn how to live in the Spirit, which is communion and fellowship with God.

Most people think of God as being somewhere far, far away in a realm that is unreachable, that is until they die. This is why many Churches have substituted rituals for the reality of His presence and principles and formulas for the power of the Holy Spirit. Heaven is not only a place we are going to when we die, but a present place to dwell. The apostle Paul tells us that God, who is rich in mercy and because of His great love “has quickened us together in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:6).

The word “quicken” means to be endued with life, to come alive. Believers are quickened by the Spirit when Christ came to dwell in their heart at the time of their conversion. (Gal. 4:6)  True spiritual life comes by continuously being filled with the Holy Spirit. Unless we walk close to God each day, the life and light of His glorious presence will grow dim. But if we abide in His presence our spiritual life will be renewed daily as we touch the life that is in Him, for He “has raised us up together that we may sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:6).

We can sit in heavenly places by focusing our affections on things above to dwell in the heart of God. (Col. 3:1-3)  The heart is the seat of life. When our hearts are right before God and we live a life of worship and praise, rejoicing in Him forever more, we enter into the presence of the Lord where we touch the life that is in Him. It is here in the place of intimacy as we direct our affections upon Him that we partake of His light that empowers us by the life of His Spirit with a dynamic spiritual life.

We therefore “Give thanks unto the Father who has made us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.  (13) Who has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son” (Colossians 1:12-13).

It is here in His presence as partakers of His light that we receive the more abundant life that is ours in Christ. When Christians learn to obtain their daily bread for themselves, instead of running to meetings to receive a blessing, they will run to the Lord to abide in His presence. Instead of feeling spiritually dry needing to be refreshed, they will be like a well watered garden whose waters fail not. Instead of just surviving from week to week, as they delight themselves in the Lord, they will ride upon the wind of the Spirit. As they walk in His holiness and righteousness they will inherit the promise of the Lord spoken through the prophet Isaiah,

Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you: and the glory of the Lord shall be your reward…. And your light shall rise in obscurity and your darkness will be as the noonday Sun.  (See Is. 58:8- 10).)

That We May Be One

Listen to the heart of Christ as He prayed to our heavenly Father the night of His betrayal, “And the glory that you have given to me, I have given to them that they may be one, even as we are one” (John 17:21). The glory that Jesus is talking about is the living presence of God – the Holy Spirit. True unity does not come from everyone being in agreement, or doing the same thing, or embracing the same theology. True unity comes from abiding in His presence where we are one with Him.

It is through the ministry of worship as we enter into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise that brings us into His presence for “for God inhabits the praises of His people” (See Psalms 100 and Ps. 22:3). Worship is the activity of heaven and it is to be ours on earth. In His presence we are filled with His Spirit as we worship the Lord. It is here in His presence that we become one with the Lord and with each other as our hearts are joined as one through the power of His love.

How much our light shines on earth and the glory that we carry depends on how close we walk with the Lord in heaven. If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us.  (James 4:8)  God awaits with pleasure those that come to Him for intimacy and fellowship. We are created in His image and likeness to be recipients of His love.  Do you remember the time that you were beaming with the light, love and joy of the Lord? This is your daily bread as you draw near to Him. As King David declared,

You will show me the path of life: in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore (Psalms 16:11).

Jesus – the Way, the Truth and the Life

How close we walk with God does not depend on how faithful we attend church, tithe, or participate in Church programs. Nor does it depend on how many good deeds we perform or how well we know the Scriptures.  Simply because we know the scriptures does not mean that we are saved by that knowledge. Neither the Bible nor the Church can save anyone for Jesus alone is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the way to salvation and our daily life. True spiritual life is not found in Church rituals, traditions, programs, principles or formulas, but in a person – Jesus.

The tendency for the church to substitute rituals for the reality of Christ and religious activity for the ministry of the Holy Spirit has displaced the presence of the glory of God with the works of men.  Much of the religious activity that is being call ministry is simply a distraction from our true call, which is intimacy with God where we are empowered to do the works that Jesus did.

You can read the Bible and still not have a relationship with the author- Jesus who is the Word of God. (See John1:1 & Rev. 19:13)  He came that we may have a living dynamic relationship. Those who love sin, their religion and the things of the world more than Christ will not be found abiding in Him. Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Mathew 6:21). The goal of our lives is not ministry but Jesus. Ministry is the means by which the anointing is released that reveals Christ. The heart of God is to reach people and bring them closer to Him. The purpose of every movement and ministry is to compel men to walk with God.

Our call is to abide in God. It is here in His presence that we see that which He is doing.  It is here that we know His plan and purpose along with the wisdom and divine strategies that enable us to carry them out in the power of the Holy Spirit for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. God wants to reveal His glory to you to release the light of His Spirit through you to touch the lives of others.

Mankind was created to bear the image of God that reveals His glory, which is to be supernaturally natural and naturally supernatural. It is because the church is not operating in the supernatural that many Christians look to the world for their fulfillment and satisfaction.  Because of this many end up in bondage. Our call is to convert people to Christ and empower them to live victoriously as overcomers in Christ.  If we walk in the light of His presence, we will have fellowship with Him and with one another and will not fulfill the lust of the flesh, “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we will have fellowship one with another…” (1 John 1:7).

Behold His Glory

It is here in the presence of God, that as we behold His glory, we are transformed into the very same image and likeness. The apostle Paul declared,

“But we all, with open face behold as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” ( 2 cor. 3:18).

No amount of self discipline, correction, fasting, or reading the Bible can transform a person into the image and likeness of God but His love.  As we come to Him and see Him as He is, the power of His Spirit transforms us into the very same image. No one can change you into the image of God, but the Lord Himself. Our call is not to imitate Christ but to be as He is, “…because as He is so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17).

As we come to the Lord and behold Him, we see the truth that makes men free.  We have the gift of the Holy Spirit to shine in our hearts to reveal the knowledge of the glory of God. As we come to the Father through Christ, we will behold Him as He is,

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ ( 2 Cor. 4:6).

As we behold His majestic beauty, His love washes over us with a cleansing power that transforms the heart and renews the spirit of our mind. When we see through the eyes of the Father’s heart,  the veil of our eyes are lifted and we are able to view of the world and one another as He does.  In His presence our spirits are calmed with a peace that keeps our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Our spirit comes alive as God’s breaths the breath of life that causes the candle of our soul to burn brightly and replenishes our lamp with fresh oil. It is here in His presence that our soul is filled with the wondrous grace, beauty, peace, love and joy of the Lord.

In Summary

There is coming an outpouring of God’s Spirit that will rain upon the earth with a fire that will that will empower the Church to rise and shine with the glory of the Lord. When His glory does come, it is not to make our meetings better, nor to bless us with supernatural manifestations to give us those “wow” moments that excite us. Our main mission will be to behold His glory and be changed into His image that we may become carriers of His glory. As we walk with God He will direct our path that will lead us to ever increasing light and glory that is our inheritance in Christ, “But the path of the just is as the shining light that shines more and more unto the perfect day (Pro.4:18).

The Church will then become a beacon of light that shines in the darkness. Attracted to her power and beauty, the world will come and sit at her feet bringing with them the wealth of the nations. A great harvest is coming and is now upon us. It will be His glory that will attract the nations to the Lord’s Kingdom, not our programs. The Lord is now preparing a people to become torch bearers that are aflame with the fire of God – His living presence fueled by the atmosphere of heaven.

God is seeking those that will walk with Him with their lamps filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit.  His eyes go to and fro on the earth seeking those that have a burning desire for the fresh fire of God that breathes the breath of heaven.  Radical worshiping warriors that love to dwell in His presence to abide in the glory of God that rest upon them as a cloud by day and a fire by night to give light to a lost and dying world.

On the horizon there is an outpouring of God’s glory that will soon touch the lives of every believer on earth. This outpouring will become a movement that will not stop moving until the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will exponentially increase until it becomes a global Tsunami. At this time the “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Hab. 2:14).

You are called for such a time as this! The good news is that we do not have to wait for the coming outpouring to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We can draw near to the Lord TODAY and behold His glory that transforms us into His image and likeness. Like Enoch, we can draw so close to the Lord that we are translated by the life that is in the Lord until we are changed by His glory to be as He is.

TODAY we can draw near to the Lord and be crowned with His glory to walk in the fresh fire of His living presence igniting fires wherever we walk. The harvest today is so dry that just a little flame could ignite the whole region on fire for Christ.

In California there is dry summer season when the green grass turns into straw, which is dead grass. I once held a match a few inches away from a clump of dry grass and it ignited!  Likewise in many places, the Church is experiencing a severe spiritual drought and is so dry, that just a little fire will ignite the people. You are carrying the torch of His presence – the match that ignites others on fire for the Lord.

Around 1997 I had a vision where I saw fires breaking out in various places in the state of Maine. These places were not connected nor were they started by men or by any ministry. These random fires of the Holy Spirit started as a small flame in the most unusual places and continued to burn spreading outward until the entire state of Maine became one roaring furnace ablaze with the glory of the Lord.

The Lord wants you to experience Him that you may have the reality of the true knowledge of Him. No one can do this for you. As we behold Him true understanding comes to our heart.  This is what ignites believes for Christ. TODAY Jesus is the “I AM” of every moment of our lives. TODAY is the day to draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. Listen and you will hear Him knocking on your heart calling you to come closer to Him! “Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts” (He. 4:7).

As God’s people behold the glory of the Lord and are transformed into the same image, she will rise with the living presence of God shining brightly as the noon day Sun.  The prophet Haggai prophesied a day when the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former (Hag. 2:9). In that day the Lord will once again dwell in the midst of His people as a cloud by day and a fire by night.

As the people of God rise and shine with His glory, the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will increase until the entire earth witnesses this wondrous event. Stadiums that are used for sports will be used for evangelistic purposes. The media’s focus will be almost entirely on the works of the Lord. Entire towns and cities will be transformed by His glory and the power of the His love. We are living in exciting times and the best yet to come for the Lord has saved His best wine for last!

As I have often quoted now is the time to;

Arise and shine, for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. (2) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall arise upon you and His glory shall be seen upon you) Is. 60:1-2).

In His heart and love
