A New Breed of Leadership is Rising

A New Breed  The Lord is working in the heart of His people. I sincerely believe this is one purpose for the baptism of fire, which is to renew our hearts with a fresh infilling of His love (Luke 3:16). The results are a transformed heart with clear vision of God’s purpose with a renewed passion to see God reconcile people to Himself. New Testament ministry is the ministry of reconciliation, redemption and renewal. It also shifts us from being concerned with titles and our authority and gifting, to that of hosting the heart of the Father and extending it to others. And thus, a new breed of leadership is emerging as a result of the transformational work of the Holy Spirit taking place in the heart of His people. The results will bring a great awakening as well as healing within the body of Christ.

By the power of His love, God is awakening the heart of His bride.I am one of those that God has been transforming. In the last three years I have been wrecked time and time again by the infilling of God’s love. Massive waves of love flood my heart until I overflow with the high tide of His love.  Each time this takes place, I go to a new level in my relationship with the Father that brings me into a deeper place of rest in His heart. The results are a refined view and perspective of the heart and nature of God. This work of His amazing grace has imparted a passion to cultivate the family of God that is relational that love and care one for another.

It’s about family that is relational for God is a relational God. Rather than building upon vision, strategy and governmental order, I now build first upon the foundation of love. It’s the family rooted and grounded in Christ and His love that care one for another, that God will build His house (Eph. 2:22). It is by establishing the foundation of love by a relational family where Christ is the chief cornerstone, that true apostolic order can be established. With pure vision and strategic purpose God will build a house filled with His glory that will set nations on fire.

One of the main purpose of leadership, is to equip believes for the work of ministry (Eph. 4:11-12). Their main mandate is to build up the household of faith as a relational family that shine in their community as a house of hope – a united team that work together as one in the unity of the Spirit.

As an example of this leadership trait, I would like to refer to Kevin Durant who received the 2013/14 MVP award. In his recognition speech he shared, “Basketball is just a platform to inspire others.” For 28 minutes, with teary eyes and appreciation, Kevin respectfully honored each member of his team. He shared stories of their victories, defeats, their good time and hard times. And through it all, how each member of the team played a major role to make him the man he is today – a champion. Champions are often forged into greatness by the greatness of a team.

Kevin did not use his MVP platform to recognize himself. Instead, in the spirit of humility before millions he chose to honor his team members. In doing so, He displayed the heart of a servant leader to his team.  The results is a strengthen team that work and pay together as a family. This is the mark of a true leader- one who places family and their core values above personal recognition and fame. I have included the link to his inspirational video below.

I believe those who carry the Father’s heart will minister with such power that those that are wounded and battle weary, will find complete restoration. Because of the ministry of these servant leaders that extend Gods heart to His people, many that are called as champions of the faith will find healing and restoration will rise once again.  Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free.

God’s desire is to heal the heart of His family. A great harvest is about to take place in the Church for ”The Sun of righteousness is now rising with healing in His wings (Malachi 4: 2). Those who go through the process of transformation will emerge with greater authority and with the Father’s heart will in turn, be used mightily to  ”Turn the heart of the Fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to the fathers…” (Malachi 4:6).

Perhaps you are wondering why it is taking so long for the Lord to bring your prophetic promises to pass? Why everything seems so prolonged without seemingly any real change? Perhaps you are being groomed to host the heart of the father as an agent of change? Rather than looking for an event to come, look to Father’s love and ask Him to fill your heart with the fire of His love. From the heart-fire of God comes a flesh baptism of the Spirit with fire that is bringing much needed healing to the body of Christ. This fire is the life of HIs presence and its source is the Father’s love.

In order reveal God to the world, is essential that we reveal the light, life and love of God. The light of God radiates from His nature, which is that of love for God is love. And as the apostle John declared, as “He is in heaven, so are we are earth”  (1 John 4:16-17). Our call is not be like him, but to be as He is. This can only take place as we, like the apostle John, lay our heart upon the heart of God to hear His heartbeat. It is His love that is desired above all.

To reiterate, from the heart-fire of God comes a fresh baptism of fire that will enable His people to host the light of His glory – the manifestation of love. With tongues of silver (redemption) many will rise in this hour and proclaim the message, “The Father loves you!” These are the messengers of God for  “He makes His ministers as a flame of fire “(He. 1:7) . With the heart –fire of God, they will go forth with the ministry of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:17-21) with the anointing to heal the broken hearted, open prison doors and set the captives free. We have the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but now God is baptizing us with a fresh baptism of His great love (Luke 3:16).     The church is about ignite with fire that reveals  His glory.

As always, “Rise and shine for your light has come” (Is. 60:1) – Roy Roden
