The Call For Unity

The Call for unity        There is a clarion call for unity, the unity that builds upon love. One cannot build upon relationships where there are broken bridges. Without love there is no trust. I am not talking about watering down the Word, or eliminating Biblical ministries that may offend someone in order to make them feel comfortable, as that that lead to comprise. But a culture of honor where people esteem one another with value above themselves. A people who do not seek after their own interest but that of our heavenly Father and His people. The greatest gift we have is the heart of another. Without trust there cannot be a bridge for heart connections to develop that provides the pathway for unity through reconciliation that enables us to minister God’s anointing.

A Kingdom alignment is now taking place. Those who are aligned with the Father’s heart in heaven are aligning with a “heart to heart” relationship with one another on earth. From this Kingdom alignment, the Kingdom of heaven is being revealed on earth in the power of the Spirit. Within the heart of these people is the desire to see reconciliation and healing take place in our region – especially to see broken relationships healed and restored. For this reason we have been given the ministry of reconciliation, which is the power of the Cross that works by love,

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the word unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them,: and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation ( 2 Cor. 5:19).

God is a relational God who loves a family that is relational. Rather than using people to build up our ministry, the call is to build up God’s people, which is our ministry. Our Biblical mandate is to equip, train, activate and empower believers for ministry (Eph. 4:11 mandate). Thus, in order to fulfill our mission, we must cultivate relationships in the body of Christ. The results are a people that build upon one another in Christ, “Unto the edifying of itself in love” (Eph. 4: 16).

God builds upon love. One cannot build upon on relationships where there are broken bridges. Without love there is no trust.  I am not talking about watering down the Word, or eliminating Biblical ministries that may offend someone to make them feel comfortable, as that is comprise. But a culture of honor where people esteem one another with value above themselves. A people who do not seek after their own interest, but that of our heavenly Father and His people.   The greatest gift we have is the heart of another. Without trust there cannot be a bridge for heart connections to develop that provides the pathway for unity through reconciliation that enables us to minister God’s anointing for” Christ, who reconciled the world to Himself, Has entrusted us with the word of reconciliation” (2 Cor. 5:19).

There is so much brokenness, fear, suspicion, misunderstanding and gossip that exist in the region that it grieves the Holy Spirit. The ministry of reconciliation brings healing, restoration and renewal to the heart of God’s people as revealed through our words, deeds and actions. The fire of His love is here! Gods desire in this hour is to heal the broken hearted and restore the wounded and the fallen.  Then we shall see a major outpouring through those who are filled with His love to overflowing.

It is through unity that the Lord releases the life of His presence. (Psalms 133:1-3). God dwells in the midst of His people where relationships are based on trust, honor and love. True unity is not based on everyone having the same agreement, as there will always be differences. True unity maintains the presence of the Holy Spirit where peace reigns. We are therefore called to “Endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Eph. 4:3). The focus must shift to the unity of His Spirit where the life of His presence flows regardless of our views and agenda.

How can one discern where the Lord is? By the love revealed among the brethren, by His peace that reigns in our midst, by His presence and the joy of the Lord that manifest in our fellowship. (1 John 1:3-5) In this setting, true spiritual life in a culture of honor flows from heaven that waters the earth with the life of His love. It is the life of God’s presence that brings life to any truth, wisdom, event or purpose.

God anoints that which arises from His heart, not the plans and wisdom of men. We cannot see a sustained awakening of the Spirit take where there is jealousy, envy and selfish ambition, as that opens the door for every evil work (James 1:8-18). God desire is to establish a house where the people are built up in love for a habitation for His Spirit (Eph. 2:22).  It’s time to defeat the accusations, strife and division that separate one another. To move forward, we must unite in His heart to fulfill His purpose – the manifestation of love.

The results are the release of the blessings of heaven with life forever more. It is the dew of heaven that waters the earth by a people that bear the light of His glory that shine with the life of His presence. Our prayer is,

“Father, pour out the oil of unity that we may be one with you and with one another. That the world may know you and believe that you have sent your Son and that you love them as you do your own Son – the Lord Jesus Christ” (John 17:21).

As always, “Rise and Shine for your light has come” (Is. 60:1)
