For 2014, the Lord shared He was releasing an angel to bring restoration and healing where there has been a breach of relationships. For this reason, we have asked God for the opportunities to build relationships where healing can begin to take place in the body of Christ, especially within our own region and network.
Since then we have seen a number of relationships restored followed by some amazing healings. Healing of the heart, mind and soul often follows the ministry of love. And sadly, for one reason or another, we have also witnessed attempts to develop relationships fail to materialize. One in particular backfired with negative consequences that did not bear good fruit. But we know that God sees the heart and thus in these situations, we bless all involved and simply move on.
Praise God, in our endeavor to accomplish this we have also seen some the misunderstandings and lies of the enemy broken. Curses that once hindered our advance are now being reversed by God’s favor. What you bring to light has the power to dispel the darkness. Understanding takes place when truth is revealed. To be an ambassador of Christ with the power to minister the Spirit, we must walk in humility; serve with God’s heart and minister as bondservants of His love.
So many are praying for God to pour out His Spirit and for a great awakening. The time for this is here. I believe that the greatest hindrance to a present move of God is not just unbelief, but the division, discord, strife and mistrust in the body of Christ. Until the prayer of Jesus is answered, “That they may be one as we are one” we cannot attract, sustain and host the Lord’s glory (John 17:21 & 26). Thus, God is first dealing with His own household. As His Glory invades our lives, it will transform our hearts that we may be filled with the life of His love. In doing so, we truly will become one with the Lord and with one another – a tabernacle for His glory.
God is a relational God who puts a premium on relationships. Jesus taught that before we come to Him, we must FIRST GO TO those who have an issue with us. “If you remember that your brother has something against you, first be reconciled to your brother and then come and offer your gift” (Mathew 5:23-24). Notice Jesus instruction is, “If your brother has something against you!” The heart of God is for reconciliation – the price Jesus paid to reconcile us to God at Calvary. Entrusted with the “word of reconciliation” we are to reconcile people to God and with one another,
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the word unto Himself, not imputing their sin unto them, and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:19)
Needless to say, there is much finger pointing in the region hindering a move of God. James tells us that because of envy and strife and personal ambition, there is every evil work (James 4:16). Are we who have been forgiven, harboring an issue with another because of a past offense, situation or misunderstanding? If so, it’s time to step out and reach out to bring restoration where a breach has been created.
The promise is given if we will take away the pointing of the finger speaking words of vanity, the light of the Lord will rise upon us as the noonday sun, “And the Lord shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul during the dry seasons, and you shall be like a well-watered garden, like springs of living water whose waters fail not (See Is. 58:10-11). WOW- I love being filled with living waters of His presence.
If we will heed these instructions, God will give those who build in the unity of His Spirit, the anointing to build up the waste places as repairers of the breach. Our hearts desire is to be used as “Repairers of the Breach.” To develop relationships based upon trust and understanding where love rules and the peace of God reigns.
God is displeased with those that divide and cause others to take sides. Our declaration to the adversary is “NO MORE” and to the Lord, “MORE OF YOU LORD!” God is bringing His bride into unity with His heart. In preparation for the outpouring of His glory, He is promoting those that carry His heart the anointing to bring about change as agents of change. Their passion is to turn the heart of the people to the Father and the heart of the spiritual fathers to His children. Being filled with His love, they will move as God’s peacemakers to restore the breach that currently exist in the household of faith,
And He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the Children to their fathers… (Malachi 4:6).
It begins first at home- in our family life as well as our Church life and community. God is attracted to a people that love Him with all of their hearts and with His love, reveal His love one to another. The household of faith that cultivates this atmosphere where love rules, will find the abiding presence of God in their midst. From the place of His presence, we can march forward with the Lord with the power of His love to awaken the heart of a region “Because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given to us” (Ro. 5:5).
The real work set before us is to see healing take place between churches and leaders, and members of the household of faith. Thus as a result of the unity of His Spirit, we shall see a regional outpouring. It’s time to restore the breach and in doing so we will come to another level that will take us from ”glory to glory.” It is His peace and the life of His MANIFEST presence, not the words and deeds of men, that is a barometer of where God is moving in our midst.
The next time you enter into worship, or come before the Lord in prayer or offer your gift to Him, see if anyone has something against you, Or perhaps if you are harboring something against them! If so, give them a call and you will find the Holy Spirit working to restore the waste places. If we come to mind, please give us a call. As a ministry with the heart of the Father, we look forward to being part of the solution, the path that works by love.
And as always, “Rise and shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you” (Is. 60:1)
