Walking with God

Two as oneI heard the Lord say the other day, “Step out of where you are and step into who “I AM.” WOW -The Lord’s desire is that we learn how to be present WITH HIM. So often we get locked into our own thoughts, emotions and belief systems, that our fellowship is more with ourselves (and others) than with the Lord “For if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another” (1 John 1:7)

To walk in His light positions us to receive His thoughts, His emotions and His desires. In order to make the present shift and step into change, we must learn how to step into the Lord of change- Jesus Christ. Thus, we are called to TRUST in the Lord and LEAN NOT unto our own understanding. In all your ways ACKNOWLEDGE Him and He shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The power of trust is that it removes our crutches – that which we lean upon. Trust takes us from our own present reality to abide in His presence. It is here where our heart are in sync with His, that we are empowered to reveal heaven on earth- the manifestation of His love.

Recently while on my walk around the Lake, I said to the Lord “I acknowledge you in this moment as THE CREATOR. I invite you to walk with me as my creator”. WHAM BAM! Suddenly, His Spirit filled me and I saw creation come alive all around me. Seeing through the eyes of the Spirit, my awareness of the beauty of nature became glorious. Colors were more vibrant and the air seemed alive with His presence.

In my writings, I ask God to be with me as THE writer, for no one can write better than the Lord who is the author of Scripture. Suddenly I get creative in my writing! I do the same whether I am trying to sleep and ask the God of rest to come and be my rest. Or in business for its was the Lord that enabled Joseph to prosper the nation of Egypt during a famine.. Nobody does it better than Him.

I understand that to acknowledge God in all my ways, is not a cliche, but the reality that God desires to be in us and walk in every part of our garden – the inner man. God says “ I will walk in them and I will be their God and they shall be my people”” (2 Cor. 6:16). Wow- what glorious fellowship!

Jesus came to give us more abundant life. I believe the present shift and change we are experiencing is to bring us into the liberty of who we are in Christ as a new creation “Now the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Cor. 3:17) And “He that is joined unto the Lord is one Spirit (1 Cor. 6:17).

Friends, it is our union with Him that gives life to our present reality. Its time to get out of ourselves to have or life in Him. As Paul said, “In whom I live, move and have my being.”

Our Father of Glory is Fathering His people to walk in the light of His glory. As always, “Rise and Shine for your light has come (Is. 60:1).
