A Time to Blossom, A Time to Bear Fruit

The prophetic is more than a ministry it is a lifestyle. As a prophetic minister, I often find my life becomes a living parable. Those called to the prophetic ministry often go through a transformation process that reflects before hand, what God has ordained for His people. We become a living message as the Word of Christ transforms our lives by THE WORD made flesh that reveals His workmanship.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Eph. 2:10).

It is this work of the Spirit in our personal life, that has the power to transform lives. We don’t just convey information, but are vessels for Christ to speak through. As we receive fresh revelation from the Father’s heart and walk out the process, we become a living message that testify of Gods’ grace and power with Kingdom authority. Is this not the call of every believer?

Hebrews 1:7 tell us that God makes His ministers as a flame of fire. These ministers are messengers of God’s love that testify Christ has risen and is Lord of all. As they receive revelation from the Father’s heart and align themselves with the heartbeat of heaven, the realm of heaven is displayed on earth. The fire of God’s living presence becomes visible as a light to others by those ablaze with God’s love.

A Company of prophetic people that are passionate to walk in the light of His glory are now manifesting throughout the earth. I am but one of many with the passion to ignite others with the love of the Father, to see a world set on fire by the power of His love. As noted below, the season I am in is to me, a living parable of one area that God is doing in this season. Perhaps you can relate?

I recently returned from attending the annual MorningStar Fellowship of Ministries for ministry leaders and our guest. For some time, I have been keenly aware of being in a new spring season. I feel so at home in the Lord that everywhere I go and all that I do, I am conscious of the presence of God, for it is “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). To put it in a single word – FREEDOM

“Now the Lord is that Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom – 2 Cor. 3:17.

I love walking in freedom of the Lord being filled with the life of His presence. His joy fills me to overflowing. Hope fills my entire being with an expectancy of great things to come. I have never felt so alive, so filled with God’s peace – the result of our rest in the Lord. But then again, this is life the way Christian life is meant to be.

As David so eloquently stated, you will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore (Psalms 16:11).

When I explained this “heightened place” in Christ to a friend of mine, he said,
“Roy, you have blossomed.” As we know, in every spring season new growth springs forth. Like that of a fruit tree, first comes the budding, then the blossoms that release their fragrance followed by the tree bearing fruit. Now everything that blossoms of the Lord, we can rest assured will bear eternal fruit.

Have you gone through a season of pruning? Take heart, you are about to blossom and bear fruit. Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. Every branch that does not bear fruit is pruned that we may bear more fruit (John 15:5). The result of pruning is new growth that manifests the fragrance of Christ. The results is 2 Corinthians 2:14,

Now thanks be unto God, which always cause us to triumph in Christ, and makes us to manifest the fragrance of His knowledge by us in every place.”

The goal of our life in Christ is to bear eternal fruit that comes from abiding in Christ, who is the Vine. People do not want to pick “sour grapes, rotten apples, or old manna that does not have the life of the Spirit. Jesus said, “My words are Spirit, and they are life “(Jn. 6:63). As we embrace the Word of God and walk out the process, our lives will reveal the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him by us in EVERY PLACE.

What follows this season of “blossoming” is a time of bearing fruit.

The fruit of the first harvest will be the Church. Christians everywhere are about to come alive with a newfound freedom. True authority is God’s love. As believers are awakened by the power of His love, the Church will come into alignment with the heartbeat of heaven. The Church is about to catch fire with the light of His glory.

The heartbeat of heaven is the Lord Jesus, and the atmosphere of heaven is filled with the fragrance of the Father’s love. Jesus said the Kingdom of God dwells in you. As the realm of heaven is revealed on earth through His people, a harvest will take place as people come to pick your fruit to taste and see that the Lord is good.

Perhaps you have had a vision of Aarons Rod that blossomed in the Tabernacle of Meeting that signified God has ordained you as noted in Numbers 17:8.

“Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.”

Notice Aarons rod displayed three seasons taking place at once –the sprouting of new buds, (new growth) the buds that blossomed (maturing with a fragrance) and the yielding of ripe almonds (bearing fruit). Jesus is the “I Am” the Lord of eternal time. In Him, we can experience seasons where a reaping of fruit can take place even before the buds appear and blossom. Amos 9:13 tells us,

“The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills,

We are entering into the time of signs that will make people wonder. Once again the Spirit of God will move over the earth to reveal the light of His glory and He will do this through His people.

The call of every believer is to “Rise and Shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you” (Is. 60:1). In doing so, as a people united “as one” in the presence of His glory, we shall see “The knowledge of His glory cover the earth as the waters covers the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14). .

Yesterday I ran across this word by Doug Addison that also confirms the season we are in. Doug states, “I had an encounter with the Lord on May 31, 2017, and was shown a new gate opening in the spiritual realm. The name on the gate is “Joy.”

“The Lord spoke to me that over the next 7 weeks (now through July 19th), there is an open heaven for revelation and the release of His power. You can expect to receive repayment for your suffering and the attacks of the enemy. “

God is now breaking the clouds of darkness and bringing people out of the wilderness, and God’s light is going to shine on you in new ways. This is a season of joy, power and revelation!”

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder.” Isaiah 9:2–3 NIV
