Release the Glory

The next outpouring of God’s Spirit may not come from above but from the overflow of His glory through the ordinary members of the Church. Every member is created in the image of God to shine with His glory. The call is to “Arise and shine for your light HAS COME, and the glory of the Lord HAS RISEN” (Is. 60:1). God didn’t say to wait for another day for His appearing or to wait until the next outpouring. The call is to arise and shine TODAY for His glory HAS Come. God is the “I AM” of today.  When God’s people know Him as the “I Am” of every moment, then they will see every moment as an opportunity to steward His glory. Together as one His glory will be magnified.

While many are looking for a coming event or to be zapped with another blessing, the Lord has called His people to be a blessing. If you have gone through a lot of purging and pruning, it’s because you are being prepared to host His glory. It was the declaration of Jesus to our heavenly Father that “The glory which you gave to Me: I have given to them that they may be one, even as we are one” (John 17:22).

Jesus declared that the same glory that the Father gave to Him has been given to His people. It is His glory that unifies the Church to become one with the Father and His Son, for in His presence we are all one! What is the glory of God that makes us one? It is the Spirit of the living God – the Holy Spirit.  Every born again believer has within them the Spirit of the living God. Together as one when the Church members are filled with His Spirit, the glory of God will rest upon the Church that will touch the nations.

Wherever you find the Lord Jesus Christ there is His presence. One does not have to wait for another day to walk in the presence of God for He lives in you! This is why the call is to “Arise and shine” for in doing so; the glory of God will rest upon you that will touch the lives of others for it is “Christ in you the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).

The Pathway to Glory

The pathway to hosting the Lord’s glory is through Christ and His eternal love.  It was because of God’s love for the world that Jesus became our sacrifice for sin that we may boldly come to the throne of grace. The heart of God is for intimacy and fellowship for He delights in sharing His heart and His love with His people.  The way that you abide in God is to abide in His love. It’s that simple. Love is the doorway to hosting His  presence for “God is love and He that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in Him” (1 Jn 4:16). As we abide in love we abide in God because love is the very nature of God!

Abide in God who is love and your life will shine with His presence. When the Church becomes a family with a love for God and for one another, they will provide the atmosphere that attracts the presence of God. (And others) Because love is the divine nature of God, those who are filled with His love will host His glory.

To the depth that the Church is rooted and ground in the Father’s love is to the same degree that His glory will rest upon the Church. Before His crucifixion, Christ prayed that the very love that the Father had for Him would also be in us!

And I have declared your name, and will declare it: that the love that you have loved me with may also be in them and I in them (John 17:26).

God’s passion is that you experience His love to be filled with His Spirit. To be filled with His love is to be filled with the Spirit for love is the divine nature of God. Just as you cannot separate water from a lake, you cannot separate love from the divine nature of God. The good news is that just as God is in heaven, so are we on this earth. (See 1 Jn 4: 17) As we abide in God who is love, we are changed into the same image by the power of the Spirit until love becomes our nature as well. (2 Cor. 3:18)

The key to life is not in doing but in being “For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). Walk in love and you will walk in step with God. Again, just as He is in heaven so are we on earth. Love is the power that transforms the heart and it is by abiding in His love that we dwell in the heart of the Father where we are one.

Love is the pathway to God’s heart that enables the Church to host His presence for His glory to rest upon His people.

The Father is Coming

The Father is coming to His house to reveal the fire of His burning love that will melt like wax, the dead works and traditions of men. What will remain is a pure love for God and for one another. Our Father is coming to father His church that will bring tremendous healing and restoration to the body of Christ.  From the ashes of those that are consumed by His love, the Lord will raise up an army that fights under the banner of the Father’s love. As carriers of His heart they will be trusted with His power for love never fails. Love is the power that destroys the works of the devil and it is love that will usher in His Kingdom.

Everything that the Lord is doing, He is doing in our heart.  The heart is the place of His dwelling and the place where living waters flow.

It will be this outpouring of God’s love that will usher in the fullness of God to the Church “Being rooted and ground in love, May be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, and length and depth and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge that you might be filled with the fullness of God“(Eph. 4:19).

The Kingdom of God comes in the presence of Christ and the nature of heaven is Christ. We are called to reveal heaven on earth. This of course means that we must have His nature if we desire to reveal His Kingdom in power and demonstration. It is God’s love that transforms the heart of God’s people that qualifies them to become carriers of His glory. It is the love of God that has the power to transform a lost and dying world.

Do not seek power but seek God’s love. If you desire to have more of God’s anointing, seek to love those whom the Lord loves. As you steward His love that ministers to others, His power will flow to touch them with His life for the power of God flows from His divine nature which is that of love. As you faithfully steward the love that you have been given, the Lord will give your more. To walk in the Spirit you simply walk in love. As you take the moments of opportunities to steward God’s love to others, your awareness of the nearness of God’s presence will increase.

The Lord will release the anointing according to the measure of your love. Love those whom the Lord loves and He will give you more in return.

A Foundation Built Upon Christ and His Love

The apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:20 that the household of faith is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ being the chief corner stone.  The primary function of the apostle and prophet is to cultivate the Father’s heart in His people that comes from intimacy with the Father. The main ministry of the apostle and prophet is to focus on the activities of Heaven and to see Heaven’s supernatural reality released on earth. By establishing the Church in Christ and His love, they lay the proper foundation to cultivate the atmosphere of Heaven that attracts God’s presence.  It is in this atmosphere that the gifts of the Spirit flow with miracles, signs and wonders.

The true Gospel comes alive by a people that manifest the love of God in their lives and abroad “…Because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given to us” (Ro. 5:5). Within your heart is the love of God and the Holy Spirit.  The heart is both the seat of life and the launching pad to release the power of God that works by love.  As you love others as God does, the door of your heart opens for the Holy Spirit to take flight on the wings of love to touch them with His life.

It is the invasion of the Kingdom of Heaven that is to be the goal of the Church, not the unsaved people invading the Church or equipping people in their gifts. As the priority of heaven is established, the Kingdom of heaven and its realities will flow from the Church to touch the lives of those that need salvation in the power of God’s love.

A Habitation of God

Paul also describes the church as a building that is fitly framed together for a habitation for the Spirit of God. Like a natural building that has many support members, the body of Christ is made up of many members “In whom all the building properly fits together grows up into a holy temple in the Lord. In whom you are also built together for a habitation of God through the Spirit (Ep. 2:21-22).

When the members of the Church properly relate to one another and function as God has called each one, (1 Cor. 12:18) the Church will come alive with the resurrection life and fullness of Christ. As each person fits properly together “joint to joint” the body will increase in the fullness of God “unto the edifying of itself in love” ( Eph. 4:16).

God’s Spirit will be poured out from a unified Church that is fitly framed together for a habitation of God that will impact the region with His glory.

It is the main function of Church leadership to empower the people to know who they are in Christ and how God has called them to function in the Church. Every Church member is called and every one is needed. In order for this to take place, they must know their true identity as sons and daughters of God. Every member is to know the goodness of God and His mercy that will empower them to walk in the fullness of who they are as members of the household of faith in the atmosphere of freedom.

It will be revelation and transformation of God’s love that will cause the dry bones of the Church to rise up and come together in their proper place in Christ.  This will cause a great awakening and shaking throughout the earth. God will then open up the portals of heaven and breathe the breath of life upon those that were slain to empower them to  stand upon their feet as His living army. (See Ez. 37:1-14)

God is realigning His body in order to establish the government of Christ who is the head of the church. As this takes place, the church will not only host the Lord’s glory but will go from glory to glory until the glory of the Lord covers the earth as the waters cover the sea. Despite the darkness of the times, the future of the Church is glorious. Her best days are yet to come for God has saved His best wine for last!

It is the love of God that reveals His glory. As the people abide in God who is love, and His people come together AS ONE in love, His glory will be greatly magnified!

In Summary

The Church is about to experience a complete revolution. The household of faith will be so transformed by the Father’s love that it will change the face of Christianity as we know it today. It is the love of God that will bring change, healing and restoration. His love is the vehicle that carries the weight of His glory from which His power flows to fulfill His purpose for “Thy Kingdom Come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

By creating a culture of love the church will attract the presence of God. It is the love relationship with God and with one another that will sustain the outpouring of God’s presence and His power in our midst.  The supernatural power of God works by love. Seek to abide in God’s love and you will release His power!

As the Church becomes one in Christ and His love, the magnified glory will release rivers of living water that will flow throughout the region that will cause an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

The goal of the Church must be that of love. Jesus explained that all the supernatural things that He did flowed as a direct result of His intimate connection with the Father. All that He did revealed the Father’s heart and His love for the world. It is by sustaining an intimate relationship with God that releases a supernatural lifestyle with signs and wonders following. This is the faith that works by love.

Fire is coming to the Church. This fire is the heart of God that will set the Church ablaze with the eternal fire of His love. This in itself will spark fires of revival that will usher in a global harvest as His love is revealed to a lost and dying world. It is this glory that rest upon the church that will attract the gentiles to come to her light bringing with them the wealth of the nations.

For behold darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you. And the gentiles shall come to your light and the kingdom the brightness of your rising (Is. 60:2-3).

In His heart and love,
