Going Vertical

Christians are rising up in spirit to the throne where they are experiencing the heavenly realm. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Through His resurrection power we can mount up with wings as eagles to dwell in His presence. To be where He is; seated victoriously with Him at the right hand of the Father.

With outstretched hands, from the throne of victory Christ is beckoning His people to rise up to soar with eagle wings on the wind of the Spirit. Those who answer the call are stepping through the door of freedom that leads them into the heavenly realm to fulfill their ordained destiny– abiding in God’s presence to shine with His glory.  God is taking us to a whole new dimension of Kingdom life that we have not known before.

I was rising up in worship in the Encounter room at Bethel Church in Redding California, when, unbeknown, the lady sitting next to me went up to throne! She shared with me later that the presence of the Lord upon me lifted her spirit up to the throne! It was a fresh release that brought her to a whole new level- one that she had occasionally experienced with the desire for more.

Due to the wonder of the freedom of ascending, she asked me how I did this. With some basic explanation in a matter of minutes her spirit was rising to the throne where she received major healing of arthritis with a fresh infilling. As she continued to do this in the days that followed, the realm of heaven invaded her life on a regular basis. The result of her new walk is the thrill of the gift of the joy of the Lord with gladness of heart, increased prophetic revelation, along with a greater awareness of the Kingdom of God. But best of all she exclaimed, “I am enjoying a greater level of intimacy.”  Because of this new realm of glory, her walk with God transitioned from the old to the new with an acceleration of spiritual growth with understanding.

Instead of the spirit of people being pulled down where they are going under, Christ resurrection power is lifting their spirit up, so that from the place of victory they can go over. It is only when we rise that we can shine with the light of God’s glory to release the Kingdom of heaven on earth from above, not from beneath. We must first go vertical to have our life in Christ if we desire to walk in His resurrection power. And, from the place of victory, release the Kingdom of heaven on earth.

Heaven invades earth by a people that invade heaven. As believers go up an outpouring takes place that releases the atmosphere of heaven to kiss the earth. A new dawn has risen to release what God is doing. This creates a shaking in you and around you because of the power of the Kingdom realm, which is far superior to the natural. The purpose of this is to usher in a greater glory. Be prepared to embrace change!

Those who rise and shine will shift the atmosphere on earth to birth a new Kingdom reality that will take us from a church gathering to a Kingdom expression.

Another confirmation of this was an article posted on the Elijah list by John Moore printed below with his permission called “The Rock has Rolled.” (7-07-11)

Recently a freak thunderstorm crossed the north side of our ranch before bringing much destruction to a farming community east of us on the Yellowstone River. The photo below is a partial look at a landmark on our ranch, a massive rock with horizontal lines that stretch over 100 feet and rising up to 15 feet above the ground.

Little about this rock has changed through the years.  The angry storm dislodged a horizontal portion of the rock wall and left it standing vertically without rolling it down the hill. This rock is now standing on a narrow ledge with its lines now pointing up. While I was watching the live streaming of the Open Door Conference at Chuck Pierce’s church on a recent Friday night, the Lord gave me understanding about this rock.

total rock represents the Church. For a long time all of the Church’s “lines” have been horizontal. The Church has been concerned about fellowship, church growth, activities, social programs, etc…

But a storm broke off a “remnant” without destroying it. Instead, the remnant is now pointing up to the heavens. See how this rock even resembles a hand.

This is a sign for our times. A remnant within the Church will break away from horizontal works and point upward to Christ.

Blessings, John L. Moore

The Joy of Going Vertical

Many are so tired of going down they are ready to go up! People are seeking the pathway that leads them from traditional Church life to walk in victory as overcomers. As Paul declared, “For in Him we live, and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28).  Many base their spiritual life on their Church functions, faith and disciplines. Kingdom living is a life filled with the Spirit, power, divine nature, light and love of Christ. Those who rise up to the heavenly realm touch the life that is in Jesus that lights the lamp of their spirit with His living presence. Not content with mere religion, you will know them by the fire that burns in their heart with the Father’s love.

The results of touching the heavenly realm are intimacy with God that brings much needed healing. In His presence the Father heart of God restores the true identity of His children by the affirmation of His love. We often hear testimonies of a dramatic increase in prophetic revelation as well as a bubbling over of the joy of the Lord. It is here in His presence that the joy of the Lord is imparted to His people. It is this joy of the Lord that is not only our strength, but the power to put our enemies at bay in derision. When the joy of the Lord hits you, it is often the joy of the Lord laughing through you!

“He that sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision (Ps. 2:4).

You cannot enter into the heavenly realm without receiving an impartation of that which exists in heaven! Those who are going vertical tell me they are being consistently wrecked by the joy of the Lord that comes upon them. It is this joy that breaks strongholds that sets the mind free from the fears, doubt and mindset that so easily besets us. The joy of the Lord is our strength because of the freedom it gives to our soul to carry only the Lord’s yoke, which is easy and His burden is light.

The joy of the Lord often hits me in the most unusual places. I was in a local restaurant with some friends when this happened. I laughed so hard for so long, that I thought the owner was going to call the police to give me a sobriety test. Basically, I am a person that likes to be proper with divine order. God has a different idea of what this looks like!  He loves to invade our ministry by either wrecking us with His love that makes us all mushy, or the joy of the Lord that is makes us all look crazy!

I was standing in line outside an ice cream parlor when the joy of the Lord hit me. The joy came in waves that became deeper and more intense as well as louder! The lady at the window just smiled as I steadied myself leaning against a salt water tank that contained live lobsters. On the other side of the tank were outdoor tables with people dining on the waterfront. Directly behind me was a line of people. I laughed so hard I was bent at the knees. When this happens I have to pause to breathe between the waves of laughter. I believe that King David knew the fullness of joy, who said,

You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy, at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore (Ps. 16:11).

Interestingly, I noticed the people in line behind me and those eating at the tables were laughing as well. My friend Claude, who was in line with me, declared to everyone, “Folks, it’s OK. What you are witnessing is the joy of the Lord!” I looked behind me and the parents with their three kids were laughing. The mother smiling encouraged me to continue as she was receiving an impartation of joy.

Then I realized something. The joy of the Lord is an evangelistic means of ministering the gospel of Christ. God is an intentional God who always has a purpose. Often the blessings that we receive are to be given away.  In these hard times, people are looking for answers. What greater way to reveal Christ than to walk in the love, joy and peace of the Lord that speaks to others of our risen savior. Joyful laughter is not the best ministry approach I would choose but I do love the benefits. It has a cleansing effect as well as it breaks off the burdens that I may be carrying.  Laughter lightens the load and a merry heart makes for a cheerful countenance (Proverbs 15:13).

People need to witness the peace, love and joy of the Kingdom of God that rest upon His people. Unlike the face of those who seriously try to convince the unsaved that they need Christ, perhaps we just need to demonstrate to them the love, peace and joy of having His life! This truly is joy unspeakable and full of glory for “The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”(Ro. 14:17).

Partakers of His Divine Nature

We cannot demonstrate the Kingdom in power unless we have the nature of the Kingdom. The apostle Peter declared to the household of faith, that according to His divine power, we have been called to glory with exceeding great precious promise “…that you might be partakers of the divine nature” (See 2 Peter 3-4).   In the midst of fear, turmoil, and uncertain times, those who rise that touch the life in Jesus; shine with the light of His divine nature for God’s glory is also revealed through His nature.

Powerful impartations are being released of the Lord’s peace, love and joy. It is the joy of the Lord with gladness of heart that strengthens the inner man, the love of God that never fails and His peace that keeps our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. When you touch the heavenly realm, you are strengthened by the faith of Christ because of the life that is in His presence. It is this invasion of the nature of heaven that shifts the atmosphere to that of the heavenly realm that impacts the lives of those about you.

The love of the Father is igniting the hearts of His sons and daughters with fresh fire. Fire is now breaking out everywhere.  God is love and whenever you come into His presence, you receive an impartation of His love because love is the divine nature of God. God’s love is torching the hearts of His people to prepare them as messengers of fire for the work of ministry as well as to strengthen them in their true identity as children of the royal priesthood.

You Have Been Quickened

There is a spiritual resurrection that took place on the day of your new birth. The plan of redemption is the gift of eternal life, but the power of the cross also redeemed your spirit to be seated with Christ in heavenly places in this life. For God in His great mercy not only redeemed the soul of men but their spirit to rule from the place of victory as a joint heir with Jesus. This is the inheritance granted to His sons and daughters.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ (for by grace are you saved). And has raised us up to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph. 2:5-6).

The apostle Paul tells us that every born again believer has been “quickened,” which means the spirit of men has been awakened. We are alive with Christ resurrection life for that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. A person that is born again is alive to the things of God. Being born again not only includes eternal life, but the more abundant life that is ours in Christ. Now read this verse again, “And He has raised us up to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

God has raised us up to be seated with Christ in heavenly places. He did not raise us up to be seated with Christ in the Church sanctuary, home group, Starbucks or other place of ministry, but with Christ in the heavenly realm. The same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in you! But the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you…” (Romans 8:11).

 Newness of Life

When Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead, an earthquake rented the veil of the temple in two and the graves of the saints were opened. When Jesus rose from the dead, the same resurrection power that raised Him from the dead also raised the saints that were sleeping. The Bible tells us that the bodies of the saints which slept arose out of their graves and went into the holy city and appeared to many (Mt. 27:50-53).

The same resurrection power that awakened the saints to rise from the dead is the same power that awakened your spirit to rise in newness of life as a new creation in Christ.  In Romans 6:4 the apostle Paul tells us that just as the glory of God raised Christ from the dead, so should also rise to walk in newness of life.

“Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

It is not your old nature that enters into the heavenly realm, but your new nature. Planted in His death with your sins forgiven, you have been raised in the likeness of His resurrection. Christ is victorious and so are we!  It’s all about being Sons of God where the supernatural life is our natural life “Who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son” (Colossians 1:13).

The door of heaven is open with the call to “Come up here!” (Rev. 4::1)  Those who respond will find a new dimension of Kingdom life. God is now removing the veils that eclipse our view of Christ and His Kingdom so that we can reach new heights. Here in the Father’s presence, the Church will rise again to shine with the light of His glory.

 If You Are Risen

If you are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth (Colossians 3: 1-2).

Paul states “If you are risen with Christ….” This implies that the spirit of redeemed men is alive and set free by the resurrection power of the Lord to be with Him. By His Spirit, your spirit has access to the presence of our Father “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father” (Eph. 2:18). Jesus is the door to the Father

You access the heart of God simply by setting your affection on things above. This shifts the affections of your heart from the natural to the Lord and His Kingdom. Your heart is the throne, the seat for your spirit. Jesus said that wheresoever your heart is, there will you be also.  This is by God’s design.

As the bride of Christ, our passion is to love Him with all of our being. In doing so, we are filled with His love. This is what enables our spirit to burn brightly with the presence of God. It is His love that enlarges our heart with the capacity to hold more of His love that is never ending. Our highest call is to love the Lord to cultivate a heart to heart relationship where two come together whicn is the prayer of Jesus, “…that the love that you have loved me with may also be in them and I in them” (John 17:26).

If you we are to be known for anything, let it be “Your love in the Spirit” (Col. 1:8). When the heart of a true lover directs their love to the Father, as our praise goes up, the Holy Spirit fills us to overflowing. (Eph. 5:18-19). As we bubble up and bubble over, rivers of living waters flow out of our belly to touch the lives of those around us.

Kraos Life

Because of the place of elevated position in the heavenly realm, the eyes of your heart are enlightened in the knowledge of Christ. (Eph. 1: 18) With increased prophetic vision from seeing from above, spiritual things take place more frequently around you! It is normal for the Kingdom of God to become more evident in your daily walk with God. Sometimes it’s right in your face! It’s called Kraos, which takes place when the Kingdom of God invades your life. There are seasons of acceleration where it feels like you are on a roller coaster ride hanging on dear life!

Destiny awaits those who are led by the Spirit.  Those who go vertical find that God takes them to the place of decision. As they step through the threshold of the door presented to them, they find in the realm of heaven unlimited possibilities. Being led by the Spirit, there is a deep eternal sense of destiny that leaves one in awe. It is in the spiritual realm that the Kingdom of God will manifest frequently to those that soar on the wind of the Spirit. Seeing Angels is normal. Not because they have entered into your realm but because you have entered into theirs.

Higher levels not only require dealing with higher devils, but a more glorious life in Christ. What takes place is often an acceleration of encounters with angels, increased prophetic vision as well as a bubbling up of the Holy Spirit.  Christians that have known the Lord for decades are often challenged when they rise to a new level. One of the questions people ask me is “What do I do with all of this?” I always chuckle. We pray for revival and for an outpouring, but when it comes, the reality still takes us by surprise! Including me! The Christian life is an adventure with a romance with new discoveries of truth that never ends.

Responding To the Invasion of Heaven

Get ready for an outpouring by those who dwell in the heavenly realm. God is looking for those who will rise and shine to become carriers of His glory to release a new atmosphere on earth from the heavenly realm.  Just as Jesus revealed the Kingdom of God in demonstration and power, He is looking for a people that can release the things of heaven on earth in answer to His prayer for “Thy Kingdom Come, they will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

It is from the heavenly realm that the Father is changing the atmosphere of church life to that of an open heaven. When the Father comes to the household of faith, it is to take over. Those who depend upon a format, programs and social activities will find the invasion of God’s glory most uncomfortable. Rather than trying to control a move of God, we need to let the people flow in response to the outpouring. The focus is now shifting from promoting our vision, purpose and agenda’s, to equip the people to walk with God so they can mature as sons and daughters of the Kingdom.

It is the expressed purpose of the fivefold ministry gifts of Christ the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher to work together as a five fold ministry team to perfect the saints and equip them for the work of ministry. (Ephesians 4:11).  It was never the intention of Christ for men to become the head of the Church, for the government sits upon His shoulders. His Kingdom is a spiritual Kingdom that is ever expanding. (Is. 22:22)  It is the expressed will of God for Christ to be the head of the Church with every member functioning in their gifts ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit.

And (God) has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the Church. Which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all (Eph. 1:23).

The true Church has its foundation laid by the apostles and prophets with Christ being the chief corner stone. (Eph. 2:20-22) When this takes place, church life will transition from conducting a church service to the model of Christ, who demonstrated the Kingdom of God in power that exemplified the message of the Kingdom. Many churches will become equipping centers where believers can be trained and released for the work of ministry. Home groups will especially provide a means for this as an outreach of the Church.

When every member is properly joined together in Christ, the resurrection life of each member will bring healing and restoration to each other. Thus, the spiritual life of its members will edify the body of Christ in love. To edify means to lift up!

From whom the whole body is fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working n the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edification of itself in love (Eph. 4:16).

 A Kingdom Blueprint

God is revealing a Kingdom blueprint to usher His glory into a Church structure that will transform the life of His people. New prototypes of Kingdom administration will be birthed by the Holy Spirit from the realm of heaven.  Built by the wisdom that comes from above, the household of faith will become a habitation for the Spirit of God. Unless the house is built by the Lord, those who labor work in vain “Through wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established” (Proverbs 24:3).

Divine strategies from heaven are being released that will equip God’s builders to establish an Apostolic/Prophetic foundation with Christ as the chief cornerstone. Built upon this foundation, the household of faith will rise and shine as carries of His glory to manifest the Kingdom of God as Jesus did, in the power of the Spirit.

It is also from the heavenly realm that we will see armies formed. Led by the Lord of hosts, they will not only take ground, but occupy it with Kingdom authority in the presence of their enemies. Networks will be established that utilize the media to help care for and equip new converts. From the spiritual realm new ministry prototypes will be released into the earth.  These ministries will have so much spiritual life that they will replace the old structures, mindsets and traditions that have set itself up above the knowledge and government of Christ.

Those who gather around Round Tables in the spiritual realm will find Christ meeting with them to attend their meetings. Here Christ will impart His wisdom, counsel and understanding. Divine strategies with specific assignments  are being released that will enable the Church to take her mountain, tear down ancient strongholds but best of all, conduct church life under the umbrella of an open heaven. The face of Christianity that we have previously known is about to dramatically change.

In Summary

We are being drawn up by the resurrection power of the Lord to dwell in a higher spiritual realm than we have known before. Here in the Kingdom realm the purposes of God will be birthed by the Holy Spirit that originates from the heart of the Father to manifest on earth.

This will take place through those seated with Christ. From the place of intimacy with victory, they will demonstrate the Kingdom of heaven on earth in power and demonstration of the Spirit as Jesus did. In the midst of the greatest darkness, fear and chaos, a remnant will rise up to connect with heaven and they will overflow with the Spirit that manifest the power, joy, life, and love of Christ to a lost and dying world.

We are in a season of seeing from a new perspective. The reality of the invasion of heaven will cause the present church mindset to shift to that of Christ and His Kingdom. Old layers from past experiences, teachings and movements are being purged that will enable us to go to the next level. To some, this may seem to be completely off the grid, but the eternal fruit borne of the Spirit will validate it’s authenticity as being that of the Lord.

Get ready for an outpouring of the Spirit. This may not come from an expected move of God through a man or ministry, but through a remnant that have answered the call. Like the burning bush of Moses, these messengers will burn with the love of the Father whom He will speak through as flames of fire with signs and wonders (He. 1:7).

The government that is upon Christ shoulders will enable God’s builders to lay an apostolic/prophetic foundation to build a holy temple for a habitation for the Spirit of God.  Christ has ascended upon on high and He gave gifts to men for the work of ministry.  Ascension ministries birthed in the spiritual realm are about to manifest on earth. This will create an open heaven for the household of faith to gather for fellowship where the Lord will Tabernacle with His people. The Father is coming to His house!

Upon this foundation, the five fold ministries of Christ the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher, will build the house of the Lord. By equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, the ordinary members of the Church will do extraordinary feats that will impact their region for Christ.

Everything is changing so get ready for change. We are in a major transition in the hall of time where the door is shut behind you, with a destiny that lies before you. You cannot go back nor do you wish to, but yet the future is uncertain to you. Change always requires faith and patience in order to inherit the prophetic promise.

A new dawn has risen, so don’t look at the end of last nights season, but that which is before you. With the new dawn the Son of God is rising with healing in His wings to make all things new. With the coming outpouring, the Holy Spirit will birth a new administration that has divine order.

It will be the ordinary members of the Church that will network together to mobilize as one. By their unity and jointing together of their gifts, resources and mantles, in the bond of peace they will multiply the level of authority that will enable them to do “even greater works” that Jesus did.

It will be in the heavenly realm from the position of being seated with Christ that we are empowered to rule with dominion. It is here at the table of the Lord that He will anoint our heads with oil in the presence of our enemies. (Psalms 22:5)

It’s time to go up! Let’s go vertical to be seated with Christ in heavenly places,

“That we might know the exceeding greatness of His power to those who believe, according to the working of His might power, Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him up from the dead and set him at His own right hand in the heavenly realm. Far above all principality, and power and might, and dominion, and every name that is named in this world, but also in that which is to come “Eph 1:19-21).
